Vertabrae Independence: A Golfer’s Best Friend
Vertabrae independence typically allows each vertebra in the spine to move with a certain number of degrees when our whole body is involved in an activity such as golf. The three curves of the spine, makes the spine highly flexible and resistant to injury. If that is not happening, for example, if two or more spinal segments move as a whole unit, rather than moving independently, it can lead to an imbalance.
