Organic Turkey Chili – Mild

1 lb of organic ground turkey: sometimes hard to find but you can always buy it on-line through Organic Valley: http://bit.ly/bFQNBl

1 organic onion diced 16 oz Paul Newman’s Organic Salsa Mild http://bit.ly/bhTrSz, or something similar.

15 oz organic white kidney beans rinse and drain. (I like Trader Joe’s kidney beans).

In a large pan, cook the onion until translucent; then add the ground turkey until it’s lightly brown. Drain off excess fat, stir-in the salsa and beans. You can either cook this on low heat for 20 min. or if you have a slow cooker transfer the chili and heat on low for 4 hours. For the best results use the slow cooker. Serve with your favorite organic sour cream.
