But a short walk around the neighborhood can do a whole lot of good.

Make Healthy Foods
Just because Thanksgiving is the one day out of the year you may indulge a bit doesn’t mean it has to be completely unhealthy. One of the easiest switches to make is using fresh vegetables instead of canned ones. Besides being better for you, green bean casserole made with fresh or frozen beans instead of canned ones just tastes a whole lot better.
Other recipe substitutions can boost the nutritional value of the dinner without changing the flavor too much. For instance, have you ever had mashed cauliflower? It tastes very similar to mashed potatoes, but packs a whole lot more vitamins. You can even douse it in (low sodium) gravy to keep those healthy Thanksgiving flavors together!
